1. Who We Are

SasX Labs LLC ("we," "us," "our") is a technology company registered in Florida, United States. This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services operated by SasX Labs, including but not limited to ClubSense, LogoPulse, and any future products we release (collectively, "Services").

For questions about this policy, contact us at hello@sasxlabs.com.

2. What Data We Collect

The specific data we collect depends on which Service you use. Below is a general overview.

2.1 Information You Provide

Account information — name, email address, password, and optional profile details (e.g., handicap and home course in ClubSense; company name in business-facing products).

User-generated content — any data you create within our apps, such as shot records, rounds, notes, documents, orders, projects, or other entries relevant to the specific Service.

Communications — messages you send to our support channels or feedback you submit through in-app forms.

Payment information — if you purchase a subscription or paid plan, payment is processed by third-party providers (Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe). We do not store your credit card number or banking details on our servers.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device information — device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version.

Usage data — features used, screens viewed, session duration, crash logs, and performance metrics.

Log data — IP address, browser type (for web-based Services), access times, and referring URLs.

Analytics events — aggregated and anonymized interaction data used to improve product quality.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

If you sign in using a third-party authentication provider (such as Apple Sign-In or Google), we receive limited profile information as permitted by that provider (typically your name and email address). We do not receive or store your third-party password.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Provide and operate our Services (contract performance)

Authenticate your identity and secure your account (contract performance)

Process payments and manage subscriptions (contract performance)

Send transactional communications such as password resets and receipts (contract performance)

Analyze usage to improve features and fix bugs (legitimate interest)

Detect and prevent fraud or misuse (legitimate interest)

Comply with legal obligations (legal obligation)

Send product updates and marketing, only with your opt-in consent (consent)

4. How We Store and Protect Your Data

4.1 Infrastructure

Our Services are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Data is stored in secure, managed databases with encryption at rest (AES-256) and encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+).

4.2 Authentication

User authentication is managed through secure identity services. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. We use secure token-based authentication (JWT).

4.3 Data Isolation

Our multi-tenant architecture enforces strict data isolation. Each user can only access their own data through owner-based authorization rules. We do not share data between user accounts or across organizations.

4.4 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security practices including encrypted storage, secure API endpoints, access controls, regular monitoring, and limited internal access to production data. While no system is completely immune to security threats, we take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your information.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data.

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers — we use trusted third-party providers to operate our infrastructure (e.g., AWS for hosting, Apple/Google for app distribution and payments, analytics providers for crash reporting). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect your data.

Legal requirements — we may disclose data if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SasX Labs, our users, or the public.

Business transfers — if SasX Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

5.1 Third-Party Services We May Use

Amazon Web Services (hosting, databases, storage, authentication)

Apple App Store / Google Play Store (app distribution, in-app purchases)

Stripe (payment processing, where applicable)

Analytics services (crash reporting, anonymized usage analytics)

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our Services. We do not automatically delete data. If you request it, we will anonymize your personal data, unless we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or compliance purposes.

Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.

Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data.

Deletion — request that we delete your data ("right to be forgotten").

Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.

Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data.

Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Withdraw consent — where we process data based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@sasxlabs.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7.1 For California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale (though we do not sell personal information). You may exercise these rights by contacting us at the email above.

7.2 For EU/EEA Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, GDPR applies to our processing of your data. You have all rights outlined above and may also lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.

8. Children's Privacy

When transferring data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the adequacy of the receiving country's data protection framework.

10. Cookies and Tracking (Web Services)

For our web-based Services, we may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and collect analytics. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Our mobile applications do not use browser cookies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you via email or an in-app notice.
